Welcome to ME Psychotherapy, a group private practice offering counseling and medication management services. We have two locations - Narragansett and the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. Our competent and caring professionals offer many different treatment approaches, tools, and techniques to safely navigate difficult life transitions. Our mission is to help you and your loved ones accomplish these goals in a painless, compassionate, and efficient way.

Our diverse group of providers have a variety of specialities - making us well equipped to match each client’s unique set of circumstances with a qualified therapist.

ME Psychotherapy provides a user-friendly online client portal for scheduling first-time appointments, sharing paperwork, and insurance billing. We use Simple Practice as our HIPAA-compliant practice management program and Telehealth platform. We have a dedicated Office Director to assist with insurance eligibility checking, setting up the client portal, and other administrative tasks. We also have Billing and Administrative Assistants to help with forms updates, payment and insurance claims processing, and issues related to insurance denials, rejections, and complications.

Marisa is the Owner & Executive Director of ME Psychotherapy and a licensed therapist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Marisa specializes in pregnancy and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders and supporting new parents with adjusting to family life. She is a certified perinatal mental health specialist (PMH-C) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She also enjoys working adolescents over age 16, college/grad/med students struggling with stress management, and adults dealing with issues related to anxiety, perfectionism, work/life balance issues, and clients who are having issues with family, friend, and dating relationships. 

UPDATE: Marisa is no longer taking new clients. She manages and supervises the team of providers at ME Psychotherapy.

Kimberly specializes in working with clients with trauma and adults who are on the autism spectrum. Sana Kalra, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Sana is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in Rhode Island. Over the past years, she has focused on psychiatry in inpatient settings at a prominent hospital, providing care to diverse patient populations spanning all age groups.

Sana specializes in evaluating and managing clients across diverse age groups, including young adults, college students, adults, and older adults, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, ADHD, and more. With a holistic and integrative treatment approach, she tailors interventions to meet each individual's unique needs. Riviane is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Rhode Island with over ten years of experience in mental health. She has cared for and treated clients with various mental health struggles across different age groups and practice settings, from hospitals to outpatient clinics, and crisis stabilization units. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, and more.

Riviane is always eager to learn more and educate herself about new medications, interventions, and evidence-based practice to improve client quality of care.

Victoria is a masters level prelicensed therapist in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She works with adolescents, college students and adults. She enjoys helping clients who are navigating transitions, caregiving, chronic illness, relationship issues, anxiety, ADHD, and those who have experienced trauma.

Victoria creates a calm and safe space for individuals to explore their challenges, develop coping strategies, and cultivate resilience. She offers a compassionate, person-centered approach and believes in the importance of meeting clients where they are in their process. She is passionate about holistic well-being and utilizes mindfulness and self care strategies to help clients make lasting positive change.

Victoria sees clients in both the Providence and Narragansett offices. She also offers Telehealth and Walk & Talk sessions.

Victoria accepts Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Harvard Pilgrim, Student Resources, Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island (NHP), Cigna, Aetna, and Tufts insurance plans. She offers a low sliding fee rate of $100 for clients with other insurance plans.

McKayla is the Office Director at ME Psychotherapy. McKayla assists our clients with choosing the right therapist match, intake coordination and client portal setup, insurance eligibility and verification checking, billing and invoicing, and general administrative services. She also assists our nurse practitioners with enrolling clients in medication management services. Stacy is the Administrative Assistant at ME Psychotherapy. Stacy answers and returns our practice voicemails between 12-3pm Monday through Friday. She also assists our community with online client portal management - including updating and electronically signing forms, adding insurance and payment information into the client portal, and processing payments and fees.
